We are usually able to see emergency patients within 24 hours, oftentimes the same day.
Emergency visits focus on a specific problem that needs timely attention, such as pain, swelling, or a broken tooth.
During an emergency visit, our goal is to:
A Comprehensive Oral Evaluation is a full assessment of your oral health and forms the foundation for long-term planning.
This visit typically includes:
After the evaluation, we review findings together and discuss options. Treatment planning is individualized and based on your goals, priorities, and overall health.
If your gums are healthy, routine preventive care is often completed at the same visit following a comprehensive oral evaluation.
If periodontal disease is present, gum therapy is usually scheduled for a separate visit. This allows adequate time and attention to address the condition properly rather than rushing care.
Insurance can be helpful, but it isn’t the whole picture.
Our recommendations reflect clinical findings and what’s most likely to hold up over time. When possible, insurance benefits are applied after care is thoughtfully planned, not before.
We participate with several PPO plans and submit claims on your behalf. Coverage decisions and reimbursement levels are determined by your insurance provider, not by our office. Estimates are provided to help with planning, but final responsibility is set by your plan.
If insurance plays a role in your decisions, we’ll help you understand how it fits into your choices. If it doesn’t, we’ll recommend approaches that prioritize comfort, durability, and oral health.
Costs and options are always reviewed before treatment begins, so there are no surprises.
For patients without dental insurance, we offer an in-office plan designed to support preventive care and ongoing maintenance.
These plans are not insurance. They provide a structured way to receive care in our office with clear expectations around preventive visits.
Details are reviewed in person to ensure the plan makes sense for your needs and goals before any commitment is made.
Our responsibility is to help you find care that makes sense for your health, priorities, and circumstances. If cost limits your options, here’s how we help you think it through.
We may suggest options such as local hygiene programs or community clinics where patients may qualify for subsidized care.
We also recognize that some patients explore care elsewhere, including across the border, and in some cases, that may be the most appropriate choice.
As with any setting, experiences and outcomes can vary. When patients have questions about past treatment or are considering care outside our office, we’re happy to review options, discuss risks and benefits, and offer guidance so decisions are made with clarity.
Our goal is not to keep every procedure in-house, but to help you move forward in a way that is realistic, responsible, and aligned with your situation.
